Flexible Coatings
Flexible coating systems utilizing epoxy, polyurethane, and polyaspartic technologies are engineered to balance flexural strength and hardness, enabling their use across a wide range of applications subject to movement, vibration, and stress. Beyond traditional crack-bridging and elastomeric waterproofing applications- such as wood substrates, elevated concrete decks, parking garages, mechanical rooms, and mezzanines- these systems provide durable, resilient protection where substrates are prone to dynamic conditions. Installed as seamless systems with optional integral cove base, they create a continuous flooring envelope that helps protect against moisture intrusion, surface cracking, and long-term structural fatigue.
Strength in flexibility defines these systems, allowing them to “give” under stress without compromising durability, chemical resistance, or wear performance. In addition to their protective qualities, flexible coatings can enhance the visual and functional appeal of concrete, tile, and wood substrates through a range of decorative finishes, including smooth or textured systems incorporating quartz, flake, or rubber (TPE/TPR) granules. These surfaces can provide noise attenuation and anti-fatigue benefits, making them especially well-suited for environments where comfort underfoot is essential. Utilizing UV-stable polyurethane and polyaspartic resins and curatives, these systems also maintain long-term color and gloss retention in both interior and exterior applications.
