An outstanding feature inherent to long-term system performance is the critical attention we give to the surface preparation of substrates prior to installing our high performance coating or resurfacing solutions. Thorough and complete substrate preparation in removing all surface laitance and contaminants is one of the key elements to a well-bonded coating or resurfacing system. Most coating failures are the result of improperly prepared surfaces. We use several mechanical methods of dust-free surface preparation in general conformance with ASTM 4259-83 to ensure proper cleaning and profiling of the substrate.
